"Scarlet Letter is a freaky-deaky love triangle. "

[Maslow’s] stage design, once again making fine use of Open Stage's flexible warehouse space. The audience sits at two ends, with a pulpit/platform on one side and the public stocks on the other, with several plots of earth in which characters can grovel in torment."
