I designed an expansive beach of real sand that could provide endless possibilities (play 1, act 1), stand in stark contrast to imprisonment (play 1, act 2), and work its way into everything (play 2, act 1) while eroding the surety of all earlier structures (play 2, act 2) to frame this generational tale of ideals lost and found.
